Bocci commissioned animations for two mobile pendants, the 14p and the 118p, showing how the battery is replaced. Both fixtures are cordless, so the sequence had to make an unfamiliar step read as obvious without leaning on instructional graphics or text. I art directed and animated both, keeping the staging stripped back to the object, the light and the movement, so the simplicity of the mechanism carries it.
