Privacy Policy
This site is a portfolio. It sells nothing, sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. In practice that means there is very little to tell you, and what follows is short for that reason.
Who is responsible
Alper Dostal, Ilse-Arlt-Strasse 36, 1220 Wien, Austria.
dostal@alper.at.
Full details are on the imprint.
What this site collects
Nothing that you type. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no comments, no accounts and no shop on this site. The email addresses here are ordinary mail links, so writing to me is an email like any other.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting provider records standard access logs when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring page and the browser identification. These are needed to operate the server, diagnose faults and defend against attacks. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. They are not combined with any other data and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not asked. The password-protected admin area sets a single session cookie, but that is used only by me and is never set for visitors.
Fonts and third parties
The typeface is served from this server rather than from Google Fonts, so no request and no IP address is sent to Google when you load a page. There are no content delivery networks, no embedded videos, no tracking pixels, no social media widgets and no advertising.
Links to other sites
Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, Behance and the shop lead to services run by other companies. Once you follow one, their own privacy policies apply and this one no longer does.
Your rights
You have the right to information about, correction of, erasure of and restriction of processing of your personal data, as well as the right to object and the right to data portability. Write to dostal@alper.at.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, the Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
Changes
If this site ever gains a contact form, analytics or anything else that processes data, this page will be updated before that goes live.
